Telsa's links: fun stuff and occasionally useful info
Official sorts of information
Very much oriented towards UK sites. It's always nice to know what
the people in power are up to, so:
For what that lot are not up to, or what they're up to that
they don't want you to know about, see:
Random stuff I find interesting or necessary
Telsa reads
- Lots of dictionaries:
before it moved site, this was called "A Web of On-line
Dictionaries", which sounded much nicer.
- Project Gutenberg: homepage
for a huge and ever-growing collection of literature which is freely
downloadable. Wonderful.
- Wikipedia: I have spent
months swearing that I shall not be drawn in. Whoops.
- Wicipedia: the Welsh version: just
for completeness.
- Swansea Library: finally, I can renew
and order books online. I could do this 15 years ago with the old
university system. Nice to see the town library catch up.
- Swansea University Library:
this seems to be the new university system. Even the building has
changed. That said, the queues for the photocopiers are just the
same.
