Telsa's links: software and the people who make it
There is a preponderance of Linux and Lynx links here: that's
because they're what I use.
- GNOME: a desktop-y thing (or a way of lining up lots of gnome-terminals and a panel to be tidy).
- Mutt: a text-only mailer.
- GnuPG: GNU Privacy Guard (works great with mutt).
- Lynx: a text-only browser I still love.
- Procmail: a mail-filter for sorting your email.
- Spamassassin:
a mail-filter for tagging your email so that procmail can sort it.
- Mozilla: a graphical browser for when Lynx won't do. Most people prefer
Firefox but I
like the old Mozilla, so use
Seamonkey.
